I know, it's Thursday, but I made this card for Tuesday's color challenge on SCS. The combination is tempting turquoise, real red, and so saffron. It screamed birthday to me, so that is what I did! I stamped off each balloon, and then stamped the polka dots on top in full strength color, and then cut them out. My friend Cindy always laughs at me for cutting things out, but I don't mind doing it! For the dotted background, I used my markers to color the dots so I got a nice color mixture without muddying it up by stamping the colors on top of each other. The balloons are popped up, and the string is taped behind each one and tied together.
Recipe:stamps - Big Bold Birthdaypaper - tempting turquoise, real red, so saffron, whisper whiteink - tempting turquoise, real red, so saffronacc - white grosgrain ribbon, mat pack & piercer, dimensionals, crochet thread, markers (turquoise, red, saffron)Stop back later today, as I have more for you since it's been a few days since I last posted!
