I just got some new stuff yesterday, 2 days early, woohoo UPS! It was my order of preview stuff, and I used one set for my color challenge card today, so here it is:

The color challenge combo for today was rose red, pumpkin pie, and certainly celery. This set is called Mark the Date, and will be available for purchase beginning January 2. I hope they come out with a set that has all the months of the year in a matching font, but for now I used Short Order alphabet. Once again, not a great picture (it's 4 pm here, and almost completely dark out, boo). I stamped the calendar in pumpkin pie ink, and stamped off the dots to fill in the circles. I stamped the letters for March on scrap pieces in their respective colors, cut them out and attached to the calendar piece. I stamped the starburst for the highlighted day in rose red, cut out the circle, added a celery brad, and attached with a tiny piece of dimensional. I stamped the same starburst in rose red on the rose red piece, and then stamped the middle circle in pomegranate. They look like little bugs to me, haha! I taped the white and rose red pieces together and tied an olive ribbon around it. I stamped the Happy Birthday in versamark on a pumpkin scrap and embossed it in white. I punched it out and tucked it under the ribbon to finish it off!
Thanks for stopping by, have a great week!
Supplies: stamps - Mark the Date, Short Order alphabet paper - certainly celery, pumpkin pie, rose red, whisper white ink - certainly celery, pumpkin pie, rose red, versamark acc - olive grosgrain, soft subtles brad (celery), white EP, 1-1/4" circle punch

Great card, love the colours
I have an employee at the store that is a demo, and said yesterday her stuff came early, too! Great early Christmas gift from UPS! This is really cute! Didn't think I'd like that set, but you did a wonderful job!
I love this!! The colors are great! I did not like this set until I saw your card! I may have to add this to my list, now!
I think they will have months to match, I mean in their examples they used stamps with the names. ;) I am still debating this set, but I am sure you guys will push me over the edge and I will buy it. LOL Great card!
what a cool card! You are making me re-think this set. I love the colors and of course the wide olive ribbon (one of my faves!) :)
So bright and cheery...very pretty!
Love this card!! I debated on this set and now I see I'm going to have to order it! darn! Love it!

This is great! Love the color combo! I've been wondering if I should get this set or not...now I may have to! I got my new catalog already and there for sure is a set called Full Calendar ($16.95) with the 12 months.
What a fun card and a cool new set!
I am so with you on work getting in the way of stamping!! It's just not right . . . Love what you did with this set. I made an additional preorder after seeing some of the great things people are doing with the calendar.
