I made this card for Sunday's Featured Stamper Challenge (TexasGrammy) over at SCS. I cased a card from her gallery, keeping the layout but changing the colors and stamps used. I was looking for an easy one, and this was it! My stamping time has been drastically reduced lately. I've had the idea in my head to use the red stickles on the buds of the stem for awhile, and this was the perfect card to make it happen! Thanks for looking!
Supplies: stamps - Stem Silhouettes, French Script, Everyday Flexible Phrases paper - chocolate chip, close to cocoa, whisper white ink - chocolate chip, real red acc - red grosgrain, red stickles

I made this card for the featured stamper challenge over at SCS (papermoon04). I picked this card because of the layout. It's right up my alley! For the main image, I inked up the "flower" in river rock, and then rolled just the edges in chocolate ink before stamping. Sorry the picture isn't so great, there's not a lot of natural light here today!
Supplies: stamps - True Friend paper - wild wasabi, chocolate chip, river rock, Apple Cider dsp ink - wild wasabi, chocolate chip, river rock acc - wasabi double-stitched ribbon, vintage brads
Thanks for looking!

I made this card a while ago, but never posted it, so here you go! From my archives, heehee! The finished card measures 7" x 3-3/4", and come to think of it, I'm pretty sure I don't have an envelope that it will fit in! So I guess this one's mine forever. It's pretty straightforward, so I'll just give you the recipe.

Today's color challenge was soft sky, wild wasabi, and real red. I love this combo!
I started by stamping Polka Dot partially on a soft sky base in white craft, but it didn't show up as much as I wanted. So I hurriedly poured white EP on it and embossed! The wasabi panel is also embossed in white, as is the sentiment on the red, and the small snowflake. I used my corner rounder to create the white scalloped edge. Then I put it all together and added soft sky ribbon, a row of piercing, and a row of white brads.
In the next few days, I'll be showing sneak peeks of cards we'll be making at my class this weekend. If you are local (greater Cleveland, Ohio), contact me to sign up!

This is the first acetate card I made, and I really do like them! They are a bit difficult (for me) to photograph, but you get the idea.
For this card, I cut a piece of acetate to 5" x 10" and folded it in half. I stamped the swirls in white staz-on ink. The main image and soft sky layers are attached on the outside of the card, the pomegranate layer is on the inside front, a white stamped layer is on the inside back (see other picture), and the gray layer is on the outside back of the card. Clear as mud!?! This way your adhesive doesn't show through. I cut out a small flower to go on top of the main image, attached a half-back pearl, and finished the card with some gray taffeta. Enjoy!
stamps - Baroque Motifs, It's Your Birthday (inside)
paper - acetate (write-on overhead transparency, whisper white, soft sky, purely pomegranate, basic gray
ink - white staz-on, soft sky, purely pomegranate, basic gray
