This card gave me fits! It originally started out with a completely different color combo and layout. It just WAS NOT WORKING! And I was getting a little frustrated. So I started all over, and ended up with this. I used the new set Mark the Date, and wish I had the month set to go with it, but it isn't available yet.
Supplies:
stamps - Mark the Date
paper - basic black, river rock, groovy guava, ruby red
ink - basic black, river rock, ruby red
acc - guava double-stitched grosgrain; silver brad; 1-3/8", 1-1/4", and 1/2" circle punches

Beautiful cards! Love that calendar one, especially the little half-circle you have down below. I just got that set yesterday but haven't tried anything with it yet, so thanks for the inspiration!

Both cards are super cute! Sorry about the card giving you fits! I hate when it just won't work out perfectly as planned in your head :)
These cards have such great color combinations. It's really neat the way you called out the date with the embellishment and circle.
Very cool - I really like the color combo in the second card. It really stands out.
Ooooh, I love the springy colours of the first card. And I love the fact that the second card is so different - it's nice to see a card that makes you completely rethink design! Great cards!
:D can't wait to see them IRL!
I love how you have used the Mark the Date! Those are great colors too. I just had to have this set and will have to CASE your card! Thanks for the idea. :)
Yay, I received these!! I love my collection of Becky originals! My husband grabbed the calendar one off of the table and said, "this one is GOOD!" That's the highest compliment that he pays!
Love what you did with Mark the Date--great color combo!
