I haven't played in Kristina's color challenge for a very long time, but I had some time today and nothing extremely pressing that had to be stamped, so I got to play! The cc this time was chocolate, cocoa, rust, celery, and white.

I stamped Polka Dot on the cocoa piece and cut out a circle in the lower right hand corner. I cut out a celery circle and used the reverse piece to create the celery layer. The chocolate you see under the flower is actually the base of the card. The polka dot cocoa/celery layer was popped up with dimensionals on the chocolate base after I tied a celery ribbon around it. I punched out a rust scallop and cut into it to make petals (cool trick I've seen and just now tried!), layered on a white circle, jumbo eyelet, and threaded some more celery ribbon through the eyelet to create the center of the flower. The flower is attached with more dimensionals. I stamped Hello on a rust circle and attached it under the main celery ribbon knot.
Thanks for stopping by!
