Starting today and continuing on the 6th of every month, the Limelight Six Chicks
will be posting different themed projects. Today's is an ornament with either
packaging or a card. I chose to do packaging with my 3-D ornament.

To make the box, I took a 4-inch square mug box that I got at my local party store. It came flat, so I didn't have to disassemble it to do my alterations. While the box was flat, I cut off the top and bottom with a craft knife and used them as my base and lid. I then threw away the middle and used transparencies as a substitute for the middle of the box. This way you can make it as tall or short as fits your need. I added more Wassail around the top and bottom for a nice border. I put tissue paper in the bottom to give it a finished look. Here's a closer view of the ornament:

And here is how the ornament hangs from the lid: I took a paper clip and made a little hook.
So when you open the lid, the ornament comes up too.
