Anyway, I used the set Giggle Grove by Unity, available at Limelight. This set has been on my "to get" list for a very long time, and I was finally able to get this month. I started by stamping the tree on scrap paper and cutting out the inside to make a reverse mask. I then put the mask on a piece of Coredinations Chocolate Box Pistachio Nut cardstock and using sandpaper to remove the chocolate "top", revealing the green underneath. I then stamped the tree over it (using my SAMJ) in versamark and embossing in white. I stamped the birdie on Bittersweet patterned paper and cut her out. The hearts on the tree are from Limitless Limbs, cut out and adhered. The sentiment is from Lily and Tweet. I finished off the card with a Bittersweet button and a rose pearl.
Thanks for stopping by, don't miss what the rest of the team made!

And the game cards:
To make the cards: I cut out 1-1/2" white squares and stamped a bunch of matching accessories from Dress Up Billy and Dress Up Lily. I colored them very quickly and simply with copics. I mounted them on 1-3/4" black squares. There are 20 cards total, 10 each of different items.
To make the holder/pouch: I cut a 3-1/4" x 12" piece of spooky circles/black swirls paper, and scored at 5, 5-1/2, 10-1/2, and 11". The spooky circle side didn't go well with my theme, so I covered up that side with various patterns of Offbeat paper. I added a self-adhesive velcro dot to keep it closed. On the outside, I used a cuttlebug alphabet (red tag) for the letters and some more Offbeat paper. I added some white crochet thread to an Offbeat button and attached it to the front with glue dots. On the inside, I attached a clear plastic baggie (it's actually the bag that ribbon comes in from Limelight - there, I recycled and reused!) with 4 eyelet brads.
Head on over to the other design team members' blogs and see what they have come up with!
2. Mandy has a new DT call posted for Limelight's next term, you can check that out here.
3. I found the Russian Tea recipe from this post:
Russian Tea
1. Boil 8 c. water with 2/3 c. sugar, 1 tbsp. whole cloves, and 2 cinnamon sticks. Simmer for 1/2 hour. Strain out the cloves and cinnamon sticks.
2. Steep 4 bags of tea (I use Lipton) in 2 c. hot water. Add to first mixture.
3. Add 1 can of orange/pineapple juice concentrate, 1/2 can of lemonade concentrate, and add water to make a gallon.
4. Serve warm or cold, refrigerate leftovers. Yummy!
