February Limelight Project Parade

This month's Project Parade was to create a Valentine for a friend, with a matching card. I bought a couple of mailboxes at Target 2 years ago when they were all the craze, and they've been sitting in my stash since. So this was the perfect time to use one of them. This Valentine is going to my niece at college.

I cut a 4x12 strip of Coredinations Cherry Cordial cardstock, embossed with the swiss dots, sanded the raised dots, and adhered it to the mailbox with mono multi. I attached a tailored bow of pink scalloped edge ribbon with sticky strip. The paper on the front is the same coredinations cardstock, the name is spelled with Sassy Alphabet, and rose and snow pearls finish it off, along with a heart cut from Bittersweet paper.

Full front view: Inside view:

And this is the matching card:

It uses many of the same ingredients, but I added Bittersweet buttons.

Thanks for stopping by, be sure to check out what the rest of the team has made!

Love your card and mailbox, Becky! I finally, after 2+ years, got my hands on some and they're waiting to be altered for each member of our family so we can leave eachother notes and treats throughout the year. Yours turned out so cute!!
