TSG Sneak Peek Day 3

Today's sneak peek is from the set Tastes Like Chicken. It is hysterical!
I pieced most of the trailer using Basic Grey's Cupcake papers, the distressing looks just like rust so it was perfect! I did draw in the cracks in the glass. I added a few antique brads along the bottom and on the sentiment to add to the "rust-ic" (lol) feel.
You know the drill, hop on over to Christi next. If you comment on all the Trendsetter's blogs and then link your name on the appropriate post on Jessica's blog, you will have a chance to win this awesome set, so go get commenting! Here are all the blog links if you need them:

Today I am showing you a sneak peek from the set Cupcake Mix & Match . I absolutely LOVE this set, and I know you will too. Wait until you see the whole thing!

Pink Cat Sneak Peeks Day 1

Welcome to day one of this month's Pink Cat Studio release! Today I am showing you a few things from the Sweet Pea Dress Up set.
The flower on Girl Sweet Pea's hat is cut out and popped up on dimensionals, and coated with angel wings shimmerz. I put the same shimmerz on the part of her diaper peeking out, I thought it was cute!
Boy Sweet Pea's bear face hat is popped up on dimensionals, and I die-cut a star from acetate to add a little something to the sentiment layer.
Isn't Sweet Pea adorable!?! And there are LOTS of super cute dress-up options for him/her. I used the dress and hat for the girl, and the bear hat, bottle, and onesie for the boy. On both cards I used my white gel pen to add pattern to the clothes.
Melissa is running a contest during this release, so go enter!
Who will be the next Cutie Patootie??
Leave a comment on the contest post on Melissa's blog telling her who you think the next cutie patootie should be. It could be an animal or a human or something from out of this world. Anything goes so be as creative as you like :) This contest will end this Wednesday at midnight EST and the winner will be announced during the new release this Thursday. The winner will be selected randomly from everyone who enters and she will receive her choice of any PCS stamp set. I can't wait to hear your suggestions!

Thanks for stopping by! Don't forget to check out what the other girls have made, and welcome to Sparkle Smith as this month's guest designer.

Going Away Party!

With the release just around the corner, you will notice that 4 familiar faces won't be with us during the sneak peeks. Bev, Denise, Stephanie and Wendy have been such an amazing and inspiring part of this team and it is so sad to see them go.

To celebrate these amazingly talented ladies, the Trendsetters are giving them a going away party! Not only are we going to honor them for the inspiration that they give to all of us, but there are going to be goodies up for grabs for you too :)

The Going Away Party Challenge- I challenge you to case a card made by these ladies and post it to your blog/SCS gallery with the keyword tsg05 and enter your name into the Mister Linky on Jessica's Going Away Party blog post. You do not need to have a blog to enter!! For the URL you can either enter your Going Away Card blog post OR the link to your card in the SCS gallery.

Everyone can enter and there is no limit to how many entries you make. I challenge you to case a card made by one (or all!) of these fabulous ladies. It can be any card and you do not have to use TSG stamps to qualify for the goodies. But if you have some TSG, you are always welcome to use them ;) You have until the end of the month to get your cards in which leaves you plenty of time to stamp your hearts out.

And what will you have the chance to win? You will win one of these gal's favorite TSG stamp sets!

Bev- Branching Out
Denise- Flowers Of Happiness
Stephanie- Here For You
Wendy- Butterfly Happiness

There will be four different winners so the more cards you make, the better chance you have to win! Thank you so much Bev, Denise, Stephanie and Wendy for the inspiration you give to all of us!

Good News!

**Warning** - if you are prone to crying, you may want to grab a tissue now *cough, Jackie, cough*.

The oncologist told Chad today that he is in total remission, yeehaw! He has had no cancer activity for months, but this is the first time anyone has used the "r" word. I had no idea that hearing it would hit me like it did, I almost cried talking to my SIL. It was just over a year ago that he got the diagnosis, and on one hand it seems like a lifetime ago, a very bad lifetime ago. On the other hand, I can't believe it's been a year, I thought time was just dragging. I am very happy to have all that behind us, though there is a 50% chance it will reoccur in the future. But we will deal with that if and when it happens. Though the doctors were surprised that it was contained for as big as it was when it was discovered. So we move forward and onward. Chad is feeling GREAT, he's been back at work since before Christmas, he is even able to play golf again, which was our main goal, lol!!! I am very happy about that. And he is like his old un-depressed self that he was before. That was one of the hardest parts, the depression. Sucks all your energy even if you aren't the depressed one.

Anyway, just wanted to share my joy with you that have been such a support this past year! Thank you for your encouragement to me!

Limelight Sketch and Product Challenge

Sorry I've been MIA lately, I've been stamping but nothing I can show quite yet!
Limelight Sketch and Product Challenge #17: Fuzz & Fluff (Fun Flock, fuzzy dot ribbon, anything soft!) Here's the sketch:
and my sample:
Add Image

I used Chocolate Lotto Fun Flock for my fuzz and fluff. This is the first time I've ever used fun flock, and it was surprisingly easy! I used a glue pen for easy adherance, and it dries quickly too. And then I was going to use CE on the bubbles, but I discovered the clear droplets were a perfect fit! I did use CE on the bubble coming out of the wand and the bottle, though.
***Key word for SCS upload is LLPC017.
***Post a comment with a link to your card on Mandy's blog by Sunday night (March 22) at midnight. A winner will be chosen sometime Monday morning.
***Prize is one jar of Purple Pleaser Fun Flock AND one package of Pineapple Sparkle Fibers.

I'm off to see what the rest of the chicks made: Mandy, JenMarie, Lee, Lisa, Ryann, Lorie, Amy - March guest, Holly - March guest

Hope you all had a great weekend, ours was busy, and then the little guy got sick last night. I hope it doesn't last long!
Just adding to my birthday card stash more, I always need them. So I tweaked a layout found near the front of the SU catalog, used PTI colors, and my new MS butterfly punch. I stamped swirls on the butterflies, but they are hard to see in the picture.

Thanks for stopping by!

Branching Out

I just love tree stamps! And I happen to have a whole set of them called Branching Out from There She Goes. So I made a flowering tree. The tree is colored with copics and I added some red liquid pearls to the centers of the flowers.
I hope spring is on it's way here, but I think another cold front has moved in, and more snow is forecasted. Ugh.

Limelight Project Parade!

The Limelight Project Parade for this month is an Easter basket. Here's what I made:

I used a template that my friend Danielle shared on her blog, click here for directions: Boxes of Goodness. It is super easy, and looks great! I used Be Mine - Besotted, Be Mine - Charmed, and Be Mine - Dotty patterned papers, 3/8" white satin ribbon, and Diamond Bling Brads to hold the sides together. I cut out a scalloped circle and attached the box on top of it, and filled it with candy. Yum! I used the same papers and my punches to created the Easter basket card. Snow pearls and green striped ribbon are the finishing touches. Seriously, I love those pearls! If you haven't tried them yet, you must!

Limelight Easter Egg promotion, through April 12: With each and every order (regardless of amount), Limelight will be sending out a plastic Easter egg filled with goodies! They could be filled with ribbon, stickers, Cat's Eye ink pads, small stamps, buttons, Dew Drops (when they arrive), Shimmerz, and more! A few will have some "big prizes" (to be determined!) written on slips of paper! There will be no rhyme or reason to which egg goes in an order. We'll keep it as random as humanly possible! So get shopping!

Thanks for stopping by, check out the rest of the team's projects!
