Howdy

Here's my sample for Weiman Wranglers, the digital stamps released by Pink Cat Studio for the Weiman family. Get all the details --> HERE. I could only read parts of their story, because it breaks my heart. Going through my husband's cancer fight last year made this a little too close to home, and we are exceedingly grateful that it wasn't our son with the cancer. I don't know how parents handle it. My heart goes out to this family.

Billy Plays Soccer

Here's a card I made for Sporty Billy's release:
The soccer ball is cut out, popped up, and covered with crystal effects.


It's been one of those weeks. I worked for my interior design friend all day Tuesday, was home for 15 minutes, then left for Bible study and didn't get home until 11. Then Wednesday and yesterday, I spent nap time winning the batttle against an almost 3-year old who finally figured out how to climb out of his crib. So my stamping time has been crimped, and I have lots of google readering to catch up on.

Thank You set

This is the set of thank you cards I made to go with the graduation card I showed you HERE. Easy peasy, kept the same basic layout and just used dsp as my main panel. The whole set was 8 cards: I used the same dsp as in the picture, but used different ribbons on all 8.

Jillibean Soup Daisies

My friend Lisa sent me some pieces of fabulous kraft Jillibean Soup papers, and I finally got to use it. I had a hard time figuring out what to do with this pattern because it is large scale. Then I had the brilliant idea to white emboss on it! I think it turned out pretty cool, if I do say so myself.

Touch of Kindness

CAS18 Color Challenge

I finally got to play in the CAS challenge that's posted weekly on SCS, and this week was a color challenge. Use pink/coral, kraft, and another color of your choice. I used Raspberry Fizz, kraft, and olive. I stamped a design on the butterfly to make it more interesting and pretty!

PCS Sneak Peek Day 1

This month's Pink Cat Release is Sporty Billy and can be purchased starting Wednesday June 10 --->here.
I made the base of my card like a football field, drawing the lines an inch apart with a white gel pen. The numbers are separate in this set, and the jerseys blank so you can customize to your heart's content! I picked generic colors and a generic number for Billy, and the grass is hand drawn.

What is my problem?

I had a really good stamping session Sunday afternoon, and haven't stamped since, or really had the desire to. I don't know what's wrong with me lately, I used to stamp EVERY afternoon. Limelight Anniversary Challenge Cards

This first card is for Lisa's color challenge: chocolate, raspberry fizz, and summer sunrise. The stamps are Unity's gratitude = joy and Mixup of Cuteness, and the patterned paper is October Afternoon Weathervane - Chilly Mornings. Ink is PTI rasberry fizz and chocolate, ribbon is PTI summer sunrise, and the buttons are American Crafts. This card combines two challenges: Lorie's sketch and Lee's inspiration challenge.

Stamps are Unity's Distressed Dots (on butterfly), Jolly Little Winter, and Growing in Unity. Paper is Basic Grey Offbeat and Urban Prairie, PTI New Leaf, SU white and real red. Ink is PTI New Leaf and Memento Tuxedo. The pearls are BG grass/ivy and Kaisercraft red. Butterfly is the sizzix die for SU.
