Wedding Invitations

I mentioned previously that I made 150 wedding invitations for a friend.  They turned out beautiful, but I am glad they are DONE!

It started as a 22-lb. box of paper:

continued with lots of printing, cutting, scoring, folding, glue-ing, and assembling:

add some ribboning:
and this is what you get:
The paper is all shiny and pretty, from Paperworks Stardream Text and Cover lines.  I had the 12x18 sheets custom cut to 6x18, then scored, folded and glued up one end to make a pocket for the rsvp/directions/accommodations/reception cards.  There are no envelopes for the rsvp cards because we made them postcard size, and put a stamp on the back with the address.
The main invitation part measures 6x6.

Phew!

I was one of the lucky ones who actually received an invitation in the mail. Becky, you did a wonderful job! Love the way the ribbon was twisted, very unique. The bride is very lucky to have you!

These are gorgeous. I'd love to see the other side of the card to see what you did with the ribbon. I LOVE that twist!
