This week's TCP Tuesday Challenge (128) was to use PJ Bear.  I just love him, he is sooooo adorable!  I can't wait to add more PJ's to my collection!
I went with a purple and brown color scheme, and added sparkles to the bows and his hat with my spica clear glitter pen.
Thanks for stopping by ~ I'm off to pick up our new phones, woohoo!  Upgrade time finally came, no more texting on a number pad for me, woohoo!

TCP Challenge

The Cat's Pajamas challenge 127 for this week was to use olive, teal, and eggplant.  I love these colors plus I had some stamping time yesterday, so I played along!
I used crystal effects on the icing, and a gold glitter pen on the flames.  You can kinda see that I stamped an argyle background on the teal piece, and ran the olive piece through with the canvas impression plate.

Thanks for stopping by!

ink - memento, versafine black, copics, teal, fresh snow

Papertrey Posse Challenge

I finally got a chance to play along with this month's PTI Posse challenge.  Suzanne challenged us to pull out a new or neglected stamp set and put it to use.  I got Through the Trees before the baby was born, so it has been neglected for weeks.  I made a simple card with it:
Thanks for stopping by!

Total CASE

I totally CASE'd Dawn McVey here for my mother-in-law's birthday card.  I just switched the colors and sentiment.  My stamping time is extremely limited, so right now it's just easier to shamelessly CASE to cut down on prep time, lol!
The card base here is smokey shadow, but it always photos as black.  I really love how these colors look together.

Have a great weekend, thanks for stopping by!

stamps - All About You
paper - smokey shadow, soft stone patterned paper, white, pear pizzazz
ink - fresh snow
acc - mat stack 4, nesties blooms, little leaves die, raspberry felt and ribbon, button, dimensionals

Wedding Card & a Buttercup

I made this card for a wedding we attended in June for a former student of mine.  Makes me feel old, lol!

I had a chance to stamp yesterday, but I had no mojo.  Ugh, I hate that!  I should have just cleaned up my area, but I tried to force the stamping and it wasn't working AT ALL.

Here's my little buttercup, at one month old:
Nothing like baby smiles to melt your heart!  Thanks for stopping by.
