Another CASE and Some Chatting

I cased this from the new SU catalog, it's a different way to use those banners that are so popular in stamp-land these days.  I don't have any banner dies, punches, or stamps, so I use my photo corner punch for the fish tail look, and varied the lengths.

Some of you were around when my DH went through cancer in 2008.  I'm very sorry to say that it has returned.  Over a month ago, his routine bloodwork came back flagged, and a PET scan showed renewed activity in the same general area as before.  He is now going through radiation again, and will most likely be put on a maintenance chemo drug when that is done.  To add to the stress of that, he lost his job almost 16 weeks ago.  So we ask for your prayers for healing as well as for a job!
We have started a caringbridge page (HERE) if you are interested in reading the story and staying updated.  I have also put a donation button on the left column of this blog, as I can't put it on caringbridge.

Thanks for stopping by!

Hi Becky- I just wanted to let you know I read the Caring Bridge updates. I'm sorry you both are going thru this again. Despite the fear and pain, you both come across so amazingly positive! I can't help but to think that this will work out well and you'll both be enjoying your regularly scheduled program soon.
Hugs from CA -d:)

I just saw this post in my Reader, and though you don't know me from Eve, I wanted to comment and leave you a little virtual ((hug)). I'm sending a prayer your way and hope that all will turn out well, both in your sweetheart's treatments and in both of your lives as you deal with all that, and on the job front, too.

Cheer and hugs to you. ;-)

I'm so sorry that he and you are having to go through this. You are in my prayers! As for the card, it's SO cute! Love the layered flower, and the way you improvised the little banners is perfect!

Oh Becky, I am so sorry to hear first that your husband lost his job and now second that his battle with cancer has begun again. I will keep you and your family in my thoughts!!!

Oh, and I almost forgot about your fabulous card! Adorable! Love the banners.

Hugs, Becky and family! You are in my thoughts, and I hope things start looking up soon, both with a job and with the cancer. I'm sorry you are having to go through this, again.

Your card is so fun, though!
