I had a horrible time getting a decent picture this morning because all this SNOW is making it so gray and gloomy out.
You can find all the details and participants for this blog hop on Nichole's blog.

MFTWSC#7

I managed to sneak this one into the gallery before the deadline, phew!  I decided to color the cups instead of piecing them (this time).  I also wanted to use bright colors.  I accomplished that, lol!
All our snow melted last week, yay, then we got hit Sunday evening with several inches in the space of a few hours.  We ended up being out in it because hubby and I got to have a date ~ we went to see "Unknown".  Great movie!  It warmed up slightly, enought to put a nice shiny icey coating on everything. Now we are supposed to get EIGHT more inches tonight(Thursday).  Ugh!!!!!  I am sooo ready for spring!

Get Well Soon!

I've had this super cute set for almost a year, and this is the first time it's seen ink.  I made this to send to my MIL who was in the hospital.  This set is from Inky Antics, you can see the whole thing HERE.  They have really cute stuff, but in my opinion, the quality of the clear stamps is not as good as others I've used.  Will it stop me from picking up more of these cute turtles?  Probably not!  They are just too cute!

Today's PTI challenge was to pick a color combo from one of the designers and make a card with it.  I chose Nichole's combo, kraft-chocolate-melon berry-terracotta tile.
I used a couple copics to add some depth/shading so it wasn't so boring.  This came together very fast, and I'm really happy with it!  It looks a little wonky in the pic, but it's just the angle.  Really.

Thanks for stopping by!
