I needed a sympathy card a few weeks ago for some dear neighbors of ours. These types of cards can be hard to make, but it seems easier if I make them at a time when I don't need them. Takes the pressure off, if you know what I mean.
I started by stamping the hexagons on the top white layer in a modern color scheme - island indigo, lucky limeade, and pool party. I then cut the frame out of that layer and stuck a strip of island indigo cs underneath, then added the sentiment. I attached that layer to a white base and added the die cut/stamped flowers.
Those of you who know me are not surprised to see me use this TSG set for one of my samples, heehee! It is definitely my most favorite TSG stamp set, and one of my top faves overall. And I don't even drink coffee! (The sentiment is from Everyday Greetings).
I just love that chevron paper matched up with the denim print. Makes me happy :).
Here's this month's sketch again:

It's time for a new Sketch For You To Try! Our sponsor for April is There She Goes. TSG is one of my favorite stamp companies, so I have lots to choose from when making this month's samples :). Go browse the store, you will find something to fit your style.
And some of the sets have TONS of stamps in them, you won't believe it!
TSG also has fantastic customer service. Tell Jessica I sent you!
