Trio of Sympathy Cards

Today I have for you three sympathy cards.  I know these are everyone's least favorites to make, but I was making these for a card set, so it wasn't so bad.  I didn't have to think so hard about it, know what I mean?

You can't go wrong with a peaceful color combo and elegant stamps.

PTI SAF Limited Supplies Challenge

Today is PTI's Stamp-a-faire, and I played along with the Limited Supplies Challenge.  Here is what we could use:

STAMPS: Natural Beauties only (or another floral set as a substitute if needed)

PAPER: Stamper's Select White, Hawaiian Shores, Aqua Mist, Simply Chartreuse

RIBBON: Hawaiian Shores Bitty Dot

BUTTONS: Simply Chartreuse

Orange Wedding

Here is the wedding card I promised that uses the same idea as the card here.  My youngest sister got married a couple weeks ago, and her colors were black and white with a splash of orange.  I've never used orange on a wedding card before!  So I made a second one, for my mom to give.

I used the rock-and-roll technique for the flowers, and used gray to soften the black a bit.

July SFYTT #2

I'm back again with some more inspiration using this month's SFYTT:

I used Super Boy to make my 6 year-old his birthday card:

We are all about super heroes, star wars, spies, and ninjas over here, so this is my homage to Batman.  And this is the first time in about 10 years I have used YoYo Yellow.

Hi there, friends, it's time for the July SFYTT!  This year is starting to fly by!

Let's get right to it, here is the sketch:

Our sponsor this month is a favorite of mine, My Favorite Things!  In my opinion, they offer very unique stuffs, and their dies are out of this world!

I pulled out a bunch of MFT stuff and made this:

And now that I'm looking at it, I completely forgot the horizontal panel. Yeesh.
MFT products I used are Vanity License Plate set and die combo, Star Stax, and star border.
