Card Carnival #6

I've got one last card for Verve's card carnival!

You might think this is weird, but this card was inspired by the *ahem* swim trunks worn by the USA men's water polo team. I loved the 3 white stripes against the dark blue, and how the red pops against it. Now, I gained this inspiration in the three seconds you could see the "trunks", cuz they spent most of their time underwater, heehee.

The sentiment is white embossed, and comes from the set Hope Blooms.

Card Carnival #5

Another quick card for Verve's Card Carnival.  I kept the background neutral and two-step stamped the flowers.  The purple one is popped up.

I just HAD to paper piece these super cute tea cups for this card! Aren't those papers so fun together?  I used Better With You and Love Notes for this card, both available at the Verve store!

Verve Card Carnival #3

Here's a Thanksgiving card for Verve's card carnival.  The pumpkins are all one stamp, but it was too wide for my frame, so I did some masking to scoot the two end pumpkins farther behind the middle one.  They are all pieced, and the middle pumpkins is popped up.  I used the set Tall Oaks for this card.

It's time for Verve's anniversary, so get ready for a barrage of Verve posts! I haven't played in any Verve challenges for a LOOOONG time, so it's a good reason to bust out some Verve stamps.

This first card is for the card carnival. 

I made a sweet little baby card using Emery Plain Jane - I hope he doesn't mind that I turned him into a girl elephant! The sentiment is from Hope Blooms.
