Just For Fun

I got to do some stamping just for fun the other day, and this is what I made:

After I stamped the cozy, I ran my watercolor brush over each of them to blend some of the ink into the hearts.  And now that I look at this card, I should have added brads to the half circles.

 

And a quick little get well card:

The little bug is cut out and popped up.

September SFYTT #2

I'm back with another sample with this month's Sketch For You To Try.

 

Here's the sketch again:

 

I left the sketch alone this time, and used Fabby Flossy from Kraftin' Kimmie Stamps once again.

 

I colored Flossy and cut her out, then colored and cut out the front layer of her pile of sweetness. I popped this layer up so it looks like she's really surrounded by her candy!

Here's a little thank you card I made over the weekend:

I wanted to do yellows on this card, and thought an orange pumpkin wouldn't look right, so I colored it to look like one of those white-ish pumpkins.  Came out better than I was expecting!
