I made this for a friend going through a rough time.

stamping on the shores of lake erie
What teacher wouldn't like to get this card from a student, with it's cute little crayon bouquet?
I stamped the sentiment, from Thanks a Million and School Spirit, on a white panel and rounded the corners. I stamped the crayons (Smarty Pants) in several colors on a scrap, colored in the centers, cut them out, and tied them together. I adhered the crayon bouquet to the card front with dimensionals.
All stamps are available from Whimsy Stamps, under the Clearly Whimsy line.

I used several elements from a Blueprints set (my first one!), and sponged the background with the scallops stencil (also my first one!) I love the stencil, so I will be adding more to my collection at some point.

I love the look of ombré, so I thought I'd create some using the stripes from Basic Backgrounds & Borders. Each color family was stamped in a darker and lighter shade, with the stripes offset a little.
I ran a strip of purple through my machine twice with the straight stitch edge die. I cut "thanks" three times, stacking them up. I added the rest of the sentiment (from Thanks a Million) and a Say What? speech bubble with a glittery purple heart.
All these products can be found on the Whimsy Stamps site.

I made a fun and cheerful birthday card this week, perfect for a girl or boy!

I stamped the stripes (love!) from Basic Borders & Backgrounds in red ink on a lighter red base. The gem from Thanks a Million was stamped on scrap, colored, cut out, and popped up on the main panel. I added the thanks word die cut twice and stacked up. The rest of the sentiment and the sparkles were stamped in gray. I used the straight stitched border on the edge of the panel, and last of all I added some stickles to the sparkles and crystal effects to the gem.

Just a note for this week's sketch! I used the largest Precious Polaroids die and stamped some sweet flowers on the insert.

Hello and welcome to another Clearly Whimsy Stamps card!
Today I used the large Happy word die cut in some fun happy colors.
I cut them twice and stacked them up for stability and dimension.
"Birthday" is from Say What, and the stars are from Smarty Pants. I stamped the stripes (from Basic Backgrounds and Borders) on the base.
I went bold with the colors for this week's sketch. I sponged the tips of the flowers for some depth.
