Clearly Whimsy Release Day 2

Hi everyone and welcome to the second sneak peek day of the Clearly Whimsy Stamps October 2014 release!

 We are releasing 7 new clear stamp sets and 5 dies/die sets this week, and they will be available to buy from the Whimsy Stamps store today and selected Whimsy Stamps retailers on Saturday.
 This month we are thrilled to welcome Michelle Short and Lisa Henke as our Guest Designers. Welcome ladies! We are so happy that you are joining us for this release!
 Today we are revealing the Sparkle & Shine, Gingerbread House and Gingerbread People, together with the coordinating Gingerbread die sets.  Hop on over to the Whimsy blog for more details.

   

   I used Sparkle & Shine for my card today.

I started by stamping the strand of lights on my base, then added the bulbs in random order. I adhered it to a black base with a silver strip, then added stardust and frosted lace stickles to the bulbs. When it was dry, I added the sentiment strip.  To make the sentiment, I inked it with versamark first, then inked it with my colored ink before stamping it. I then embossed it with iridescent ice embossing powder. You know, for more sparkle and shine :)
