Clearly Whimsy Stamps May release BLOG HOP!

 

The CWS design team have been sharing some amazing creations made with these new stamps and dies over the last couple of days, and today we are celebrating their release with a GRAND BLOG HOP!

 

On Thursday, we released 4 new Clearly Whimsy Stamps clear sets and 7 new coordinating Shapeology crafting dies.Yum Yum Yum 4x6 set, Say Cheese 4x6 set, Retro Flowers 4x6 set, Lil stinker 4x6 set  Cupcake large word die, Friend large word die, Ice cream cone die, Laugh large word die, Lil stinker outlines die Say cheese film strip, Wish large word die

 

The hop starts today (Saturday May 16th at 8.00AM ET) and ends on Wednesday May 20th at midnight EDT.

My card for today features Retro Flowers, Say Cheese, Say Cheese Filmstrip die, and friend large word die.

   

I started by taking my watercolor brush, picking up some ink with it, and randomly coloring on a white panel.  Once it dried, I stamped the filmstrip on it, and layered another filmstrip at an angle, this one die cut.  I stamped and cut out the flower and added a pretty center.  The leaves are triangles (Tremendous Triangles dies) stamped with the mesh from Distressed Backgrounds and Ink Splats. I attached the flower over the filmstrips, added the die cut friend and the rest of the sentiment.  I popped up the whole panel on the card base.

This card also works for this week's ShowCASe Your Style Challenge #15, theme - friends.
