It's time for another challenge from the ShowCASe blog!  This challenge is a color challenge:
Aren't these colors gorgeous together?  My first thought was "winter", so that's what I went with.
I stamped a bunch of snowflakes (Sparkle & Shine) in shades of blue and gray on a white panel.  I added the large word Christmas die and a sentiment from Christmas Greetings, popped up the panel on a white card base, and added some stickles to the dark snowflakes.
Thanks for stopping by, be sure to stop by the ShowCASe blog to join the fun!

Whimsy Graduation

I needed a graduation card for is weekend, so I pulled out School Spirit to make this:

I used some patterned paper from my stash, cut a vertical strip out of it, and stamped the sentiment in it.  I die cut the hat and tassel (Mortarboard and Tassel) and added it to the card.  Thanks for stopping by!

I used You're Super (one of my faves), and the cityscape seemed perfect for the three squares called for by the sketch. And of course I had to add a pop of contrasting color with her orange sparkly mask!

SYSC #17

It's time for ShowCASe Your Style Challenge #17!  This week's challenge is a sketch challenge.

And here's what I made:
I stamped and colored the cupcake from Yum Yum Yum on a white panel, added the sentiment from Say What, placed two strips of patterned paper behind it, and done!  Easy peasy.
Thanks for stopping by, head over to the SYSC blog to play along!

Life Stinks

For my Whimsy Stamps card this week, I took this cute little stinker and made this:
I started by cutting three light green strips and stamping them with the linen-type background from Distressed Backgrounds and Ink Splats.  I did some masking for the sentiment (Lil Stinker) on one of the strips, then adhered them at different angles on my dark green base.  I stamped the skunk (Lil Stinker) on a circle and added some shadow.  I punched a few different colored circles and stamped backgrounds (Basic Backgrounds and Borders 1 and 2) on them before adding them to my card.  I stamped the little bee (Lil Stinker) on a scrap, colored it, cut it out, and adhered it to my card, then stamped the trail.
