Whimsy Birthday

For my Whimsy card this week, I went pretty clean and simple.  I angled a white panel on a white base, and stamped 3 balloons (Happy Everything) on it.  I cut Happy (large happy word die) from orange cardstock and stamped triangles (Basic Backgrounds & Borders 2) in darker orange ink.  I cut birthday (large birthday word die) from darker orange cardstock three times, stacked them together, and adhered both words to my card front.

MFT Color Challenge

I made this a while ago, just now getting around to posting it.  I cut strips of primitive white cardstock, stamped the dots on them, and adhered them to a charcoal base.  The flower is the bottom two layers of the camellia hybrid flower, love it!

SYSC #11

It's time for ShowCASe Your Style Challenge #11!
We have an inspiration picture for this challenge.

I was inspired by the animals in the picture, so I pulled out Into the Woods stamp set and the matching Woodland Critters dies to make my card.

I die cut and stamped three bunnies and lined them up against a hill (Stitched Border Trio).
I cut the scripty love out three times, stamped lines on it (Basic Backgrounds & Borders), glued them all together and adhered to my card.  The YOU is from Smarty Pants, as is the arrow line.

Hop on over to the SYSC blog for all the details, I hope you'll play along with us.
Thanks for stopping by!

MFT WSC 219

I used the scribble from Whimsical Wishes to mimic the Circle Scribble flowers that I don't own (yet) for my card this week.  I simply turned the scribble stamp upside down and stamped it as a solid circle.

The diecut Happy (which is covered with crystal effects) represents the wide panel on the sketch.

Welcome to the ... Clearly Whimsy Stamps March release BLOG HOP! The CWS design team have been sharing some amazing creations made with these new stamps and dies over the last couple of days, and today we are celebrating their release with a GRAND BLOG HOP! On Thursday, we released 4 new Clearly Whimsy Stamps clear sets and 2 new coordinating Shapeology crafting dies. Circles, Circles, Circles 4x6 set, Into the Woods 4x6 set, Stitched Alphabet Uppercase 4x6 set, and Hoo Loves You 4x 3 set. Owl Outline Dies and Woodland Critter Dies. The hop starts today (Saturday March 14th at 8.00AM ET) and ends on Wednesday March 18th at midnight EDT.
I used Into the Woods and Woodland Critters die for my card today.
I die cut the deer outline and stamped the deer on it.  I stamped the gingham background (Basic Backgrounds & Borders 2) with yellow ink on a yellow strip, and adhered it to my base. I layered the sentiment strip (Into the Woods) on top of it.  I stamped and fussy cut several little flowers to create a bed of flowers for the deer to stand in.  I popped up the deer and added his little butterfly friend.

We will draw one winner from the comments left on each hop post and that random person will win a $25 gift voucher to the Whimsy Store. Clearly Whimsy Release Day 2

Hi everyone and welcome to the Day 2 of the Clearly Whimsy Stamps March 2015 release We are releasing 4 new clear stamp sets and 2 coordinating die/die sets this week, and they are available to buy from the Whimsy Stamps store RIGHT NOW and selected Whimsy Stamps retailers tomorrow!!
Today I am showing you a card using Hoo Loves You stamps, Owl Outline dies, and Into the Woods stamps.
This card is a bit smaller than the normal A2. I did that so my layer that hangs off the edge would fit inside an envelope easily.  I stamped the tree and leaves on a white base; cut, stamped, and colored the owl; and arranged my layers so I could stamp the sentiment where I wanted. I popped the owl up.

PRIZE ALERT ... We have hidden a fabulous prize of a $15 GIFT CERTIFICATE at one of the stops on today’s hop! We will draw the lucky winner from the comments left here and on today’s design team posts (listed below), so be sure to visit everyone and leave a comment to be entered into the draw. We are releasing 4 new clear stamp sets and 2 coordinating die/die sets this week, and they will be available to buy from the Whimsy Stamps store TODAY and selected Whimsy Stamps retailers on Saturday!!

Today I am showing you a rainbow card I made using Circles Circles Circles and Stitched Alphabet Upper stamp sets.
I started by stamping the circles and letters on a white panel.  I used copics to color the letters, then cut the bottom of the panel using the rounded edge from Stitched Border Trio dies.  I stamped the triangle pattern (Basic Backgrounds & Borders 2) in purple ink on a purple base to complete my rainbow!  To finish it, I wrapped some white string around the card three times and tied a bow.

Welcome to SYSC #10!
Today's challenge is a color challenge.
Here's the photo to be inspired by:
I used a lot of colors on my card but kept it pretty simple.
I used a row of stars, and stamped the sentiment on a strip and popped it up to add some interest.
All stamps used are from Happy Everything.

I hope you'll play along, and you can find all the details of this challenge HERE.

I pulled out sweet Super Girl for this week's card.  I picked out my papers first, and then colored her to match. Her mask is pink and I covered it in stickles for some sparkle!
