Whimsy Love

This is a no-stamp card! I cut a gray panel and embossed it with dots, then cut a heart from patterned paper and adhered a die cut "love" on it. I tied a bow around the heart and adhered it to the front.

I always use flowers as my go-to when I don't have a lot of time or I'm having trouble making the sketch work. Can't go wrong with flowers, or have too many of them!

I used a combo of white, rustic white, and grout gray to make the layers stand out just a bit.

Whimsy Release and Inspiration Day 3

Welcome to day three of the Clearly Whimsy Stamps Release!

How cute is this little guy?!

He is from Just a Note, and I stamped him on a white panel.  I used copic markers to very lightly add some color to him.  The "Hi!" is white-embossed on red cardstock, cut out, and popped up.  The background was stamped using Get In Line, made to look like notebook paper.  It's really a very versatile background set!

Whimsy Release and Inspiration Day 2

Welcome to day two of the Clearly Whimsy Release!

Today I used Painted Sentiments and Get In Line to make a simple birthday card.

I stamped an arrangement of lines in green ink on a green base, then added a strip of denim patterned paper.  I used the stitches from Get In Line above and below the denim strip.  I stamped the sentiment on a kraft oval, and added a silver glitter die cut heart (Puzzle Pieces dies).

Whimsy Release News and Inspiration Day 1

Hello and welcome to day one of the Clearly Whimsy Release for January!
Check out what I made with some of the new products that are available now:
This card features You Complete Me and the Scripted Love word die.  I stamped the puzzle pieces on a white panel, then cut a heart out of a pink panel and adhered it on top.  I die cut the "love" three times, stacked them up for some bulk, and then added the rest of the sentiment.

I had a lot of fun playing with these pop bottles! I colored them with the lids of my ink pads and a watercolor brush marker from back in the day.

Whimsy Snow Fun

I pulled out this cute little guy (Penguin Fun) for this week's card. I stamped him on a panel, colored his beak and feet, added the sentiment (Penguin Winter Adventures) and snowflakes, and then cut and stamped his hat and added it to the panel. I wonky cut a few strips for the top of the panel, tied some twine around it, and adhered it to an embossed panel.

Whimsy Happy Birthday

Welcome to another year of Whimsy Stamps! I used 6 different stamp sets and 5 different colors for this card.  I knew I wanted to make a birthday card but keep it relatively simple. So I combed through all my sets to see which pieces and parts would work.
Happy Hanukkah - candles
Happy Everything - bow on candles
Smarty Pants - stars
Birthday Balloon - both sentiment words
School Spirit - arrows

Happy New Year, I hope you all had a great Christmas season!
