This first card uses the Hexagon Border (FRA-DIE-09831).
I cut several of the borders out of four different colors of cardstock, being careful not to let all the inside cuts come apart from the border. I randomly poked out some of the cuts, leaving some areas filled in. Then I arranged and adhered them on a black panel, which I adhered to a black base. I cut the sentiment from white, leaving the holes filled in in the happy (Mixed Font Happy Birthday (FRA-DIE-09776) .
I started with a white base that I watercolored some light blue for a background. After it was dry, I put down a piece of patterned paper with navy houndstooth on it. The glitter border was next. For my focus, I cut a Scribble Rose (FRA-DIE-09741), once from peach cardstock, and one from lime green. I used my copic markers to add some color to the flower and leaves. I then cut the leaves off the peach flower and adhered it on top of the green flower/leaf. I glued the flower to the stitched hexagon, along with the sentiment from Accessory Words #3 (FRA-DIE-09467). I popped up the hexagon panel on my card front and added some dots.
Thanks for stopping by!
