You're Spectacular

Frantic Stamper's June 1 release included an adorable die set of different glasses.  I cut them out of different bright colors and made this card:
I put some chevron patterned paper on my base, then adhered a tilted white panel, lined up the glasses, and added the sentiment.  Super easy, thanks for stopping by!

Sending Smiles

I pulled out Mom's Layered Flowers from Whimsy Stamps and did a little watercoloring.  I embossed the flower on watercolor paper and used my new Gansai Tambi 36 watercolor set that I found on Amazon for a steal! I still have lots of practicing to do, but I'm having fun with it, and so is my daughter.
The chevron background is white-embossed on kraft.

Whimsy Clear Release, Day 2

Welcome back! It's day 2, and that means everything you've seen so far will be available for purchase tomorrow at Whimsy Stamps!  Find all the info here: Whimsy Blog.

Today we are peaking Ocean Journeys, Ocean Journeys Sentiments, and Sentiments Banner dies.

Here are my cards:
I stamped and cut out the sailboat, then paper pieced it using the new paper pad from Whimsy (cool!).  I cut a Hand Stitched Rectangle and stamped the waves, sentiment, and gulls on it before adding the boat.  I popped up the main panel on a same-colored base.
Card #2:
I cut a panel from the new Whimsy paper pad, and then cut a circle out of it.  I adhered the panel to a white base, then stamped the wheel in the opening.  I added the sentiment banner and some circles at the bottom.  It's hard to tell from the picture, but I stamped a stitched line (Get In Line) through the middle of each row.
Thanks for stopping by, tomorrow's the last day of peaks!

Whimsy June Release, Day 1

Welcome to Day One of the Whimsy Stamps June Clear Release!
Start at the Whimsy Inspirations Blog so you don't miss anything!
We will be peaking four new stamp sets and two die sets.
Today we are showing Need More and Squeezed.

Here is my first card, using Need More:
I stamped the cup on patterned paper and cut it out, adding the rest of the words and heart.  The main sentiment was stamped on striped paper and all the layers added to the card.  The cup is popped up, and I stamped and cut out the spoon, adhering it to the cup.  A few random enamel dots (also new from Whimsy, woohoo!) and the heart-shaped steam finish the card.
And here is my card using Squeezed and matching dies:
I stamped, cut, and colored my pink lemonade glass.  Yum! I mimiced a tablecloth using white ink and Get In Line.  After it was (semi)dry, I stamped the two sentiments, and adhered the pink lemonade.  I stamped, cut, colored, and adhered an extra pink lemon on the side.  More enamel dots finish the card.

Love From My Heart to Yours

My Whimsy Stamps card for this week features some hombre-ish stripes.
I stamped the widest stripe from Get In Line full strength, then moved it up a bit, stamped again, and repeated to get the effect.
Thanks for stopping by, see you Monday for the start of the June release!
