Whimsy Gold Thanks

I started by cutting out a large flag for my focal point. I stamped a rainbow of triangles (Basic Backgrounds & Borders 2) on it, then gold-embossed several sentiments from Hand-Lettered Thoughts on top. Alł stamps from Whimsy Stamps, thanks for stopping by!

Halloween Hello

Another halloween card for you today using Frantic Stamper dies:
I cut a dark purple patterned paper panel to fit the front of a card, then used two spider web borders to frame my sentiment and light purple bow.  Super simple!  I did add some wink of stell glitter pen to made the webs more "webby".

Trick or Treat!

I have a Frantic Stamper Halloween card to share with you today!
I used the spider web card panel over some black and white polka dot patterned paper, and the pumpkin is cut from tiny orange and white polka dot patterned paper.  I added the (not so) Scary Face and a stacked sentiment.

Sympathy Lilies

I've got several Frantic Stamper posts scheduled for the next few days, I hope you enjoy them!

First up is a sympathy card:
I stamped some random text on a light blue base, then added a darker triangle on the bottom right corner. For the focal point, I cut and colored several lilies and adhered them on a tag.  I cut the words and added some shading, then glued on a yellow bow.
Here's what I used:

Whimsy Plaid

I combined lines from Get In Line and Basic Backgrounds & Borders 1 to make this plaid. Even my hubby, who's not really interested in my hobby, noticed it and thought it was cool! The sentiment (Bold Statements) is embossed in white.

Whimsy July Release, Day Three

New Whimsy products now available!  I hope you've enjoyed this release, here's my last card for this week.
I used the dots die panel from Many Thanks cardbuilder set on a white piece, then stamped the two part sentiment.  It's colored in with copics, then I added a few little flowers and leaves from Spring Wreath.

Whimsy July Release, Day Two

Welcome to day two of Whimsy's July release!  All new products will be available for purchase tomorrow (Wednesday) morning.

First up:
I used Camper's Roadtrip stamps and dies for this card.  I started by stamping the rays (Up Up and Away) in gray and aqua on a white piece, then added my scene (stamped and cut trees, that adorable camper) and colored in some grass.  That fun sentiment finishes it.

Next, I used the new Love is a Flower set:
I stamped some chicken wire (Distressed Backgrounds & Ink Splats) on my coral base, then added a wonky white layer with the sentiment, and then the aqua layer has a white-embossed flower and some canvas and ink splats stamped in aqua ink (Distressed Backgrounds & Ink Splats).

Thanks for stopping by, head over to the event on Facebook to join in the fun!

I made this to send to my son, who is celebrating his birthday at camp this week. Thanks for stopping by!

Whimsy July Release, Day One

Welcome to day one of the Whimsy Stamps July Clear Release!  We are doing things a bit differently this month, all the fun is taking place on this Facebook event.  Head over there for sneak peeks, games and giveaways!
Today we are showing Bold Statements, Many Thanks stamps, Many Thanks dies, and Slip'n'Slide dies.
Here is what I made:
This card uses Many Thanks stamp set and Many Thanks cardbuilder die set.  I cut two pieces of patterned paper and layered them together, then die cut the thanks out of the ribbon banner from the cardbuilder set.  I added a finishing sentiment (from Many Thanks) and some gold cording.

My second card features Bold Statements stamps and Slip'n'Slide dies.
Now with the Slip'n'Slide dies, you are supposed to use the negative space to create a slider card, but I chose to use the positive piece.  I cut a bunch of them from four summery colors and layered them up on a white piece.  I stamped the Hello on white and aqua, then cut out the inside of the "o" from the aqua piece and put it inside the white "o".  I added some sequins and popped up the whole layer on a white base.

Whimsy Thanks

Hello!  Here is my weekly Whimsy card.  I started by stamping the lines in two colors of blue ink for my background.  Then I stamped and colored the boat, and cut it out with an oval die.  I cut a sentiment banner and added the words, then layered it all together and put a double twine bow on before adhering everything to a dark blue base.
