This is a no-stamp card! I cut a gray panel and embossed it with dots, then cut a heart from patterned paper and adhered a die cut "love" on it. I tied a bow around the heart and adhered it to the front.
He is from Just a Note, and I stamped him on a white panel. I used copic markers to very lightly add some color to him. The "Hi!" is white-embossed on red cardstock, cut out, and popped up. The background was stamped using Get In Line, made to look like notebook paper. It's really a very versatile background set!
Today I used Painted Sentiments and Get In Line to make a simple birthday card.
I stamped an arrangement of lines in green ink on a green base, then added a strip of denim patterned paper. I used the stitches from Get In Line above and below the denim strip. I stamped the sentiment on a kraft oval, and added a silver glitter die cut heart (Puzzle Pieces dies).
Hello and welcome to day one of the Clearly Whimsy Release for January!
Check out what I made with some of the new products that are available now:
This card features You Complete Me and the Scripted Love word die. I stamped the puzzle pieces on a white panel, then cut a heart out of a pink panel and adhered it on top. I die cut the "love" three times, stacked them up for some bulk, and then added the rest of the sentiment.
Thanks for stopping by, head over to the Whimsy Blog for all the details, including how you can win a prize!
I pulled out this cute little guy (Penguin Fun) for this week's card. I stamped him on a panel, colored his beak and feet, added the sentiment (Penguin Winter Adventures) and snowflakes, and then cut and stamped his hat and added it to the panel. I wonky cut a few strips for the top of the panel, tied some twine around it, and adhered it to an embossed panel.
Welcome to another year of Whimsy Stamps! I used 6 different stamp sets and 5 different colors for this card. I knew I wanted to make a birthday card but keep it relatively simple. So I combed through all my sets to see which pieces and parts would work.
